Max Richardson (Dillon Diaz), a college Dean, also showed up late to the airport and might miss his flight. Both men arrive just as the plane is taking off. Shadow, who is visibly stressed out, takes out his phone to call his wife. Max calmly finds a lounge to wait in until the next flight out. John joins Max a few minutes later. While in the lounge the men share a few flirtatious looks and compliments with each other. This peaks John's curiosity and he boldly asks Max a question, but not just any question.
